Strategic Partner

For the past 8 years, Energycentric has proudly been recognised as a strategic partner to Acevo and has been achieving savings on gas and electric costs for its members throughout this period. Acevo is the UK’s largest network for charity and social enterprise leaders and offers its member organisations advice and support, networking and events, policy and advocacy campaigns and leadership development; giving them the opportunity to boost their business and become part of a collective voice in the Third Sector.

Three years ago representatives from both Energycentric and Acevo came together to discuss how the collective buying power of the organisation’s members could be harnessed to reduce energy costs. Through the combined work of both parties, the Acevo Energy Basket was developed; a product that allows member organisations to save money in a sustainable way.

As a way to mark the anniversary of the Acevo Energy Basket, Energycentric commits each year to hosting a table at the annual dinner where CEO’s or other Acevo member representatives are invited.

This year Energycentric will be hosting two tables, with the event beginning at 6.30 pm on the 18th November at the Victoria Park Plaza in London. Paul Lomas and Paul Antoniades, the two founding directors of Energycentric, look forward to welcoming their guests on the night which should be as always an entertaining and interesting evening.

The following day will see the same venue play host to the Acevo Annual Conference. The event offers a series of exhibition stands, at which Energycentric will be exhibiting.

We will be located at Stand 5, giving those who attend a more detailed insight into exactly what the Energy Basket entails. Members of Acevo have enviable access to a range of products and services through the organisation’s partnership scheme, with the sole aim to bring additional value and reduced costs to their businesses.

Part of the conference theme this year is around “added value”, with Acevo running a “Know Your Benefits” workshop. Five of acevo’s strategic partners will be giving short presentations on this subject and Paul Lomas will be one of them, giving a crucial insight into why now is a good time to secure your gas and electric contracts going forward.

Finally, if you are unable to attend either of the above events and want to know more about the acevo Energy Basket, please email Helen O’Brien at helen.obrien@energycentric.co.uk , who will answer your questions and provide you with relevant information.
